The South Cooking Lake Community League would like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU for a fantastic Trail Days and 100th anniversary event in our community on Saturday Aug 19. We have the most amazing volunteers who help bring it all together and we could not do it without all of you. Thank you so much for all you do and continue to do in our community! 
We would also like to thank the special guests who attended our event, our many wonderful sponsors and vendors, and, of course, all of the families who came out to celebrate with us. We loved seeing so many friends – old and new! We would also like to give an extra special thank you Scott Swann, Chair of the 100th Anniversary Committee, and Aila Beck-Merritt, Chair of the Trail Days Organizing Committee, for all of their hard work and commitment to making this 100th anniversary event such a success, and to Strathcona County, the Cooking Lake Airport and the Strathcona County Fire Dept for their support and participation.
We will have a more detailed thank you list to share because there are many people and groups who helped contribute to our milestone event. For now we want to say how we feel very blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people and we love our community so much! Cheers to the next 100 years!
