A great way to get involved in our community is to join our Community League Board. We meet on the second Thursday of the each month, at 7 p.m. at the Hall, except in July and August when there are no meetings. We discuss activities, fundraising opportunities, and any issues community members have, including things related to community safety (e.g. what to do and where to go in case of a public emergency), noise complaints, and other concerns our community members may have.
You can also get involved in the community by volunteering during one of our community events, such as Trail Days in the summer or our family parties at Easter and Christmas. For more information about the kinds of help that is needed, please contact Heather at cromb@mcsnet.ca.
